Y-Tri at the Burlington Area YMCA

Includes:10 minutes swim, 20 minute bike, 20 minute walk/run. 
Distance from each event will be added together for a total distance achieved.

Early Bird Registration- register by February 6 to receive Y-Swag bag and Y-water bottle
Late registration March 7- 20- no guarantee for event shirt and medal.

Waves
You will register for a wave that has an assigned start time for each leg. 
Limited # of participants per wave. Transition times between legs: 10m between swim and bike and 5m between bike and walk/run.
Note: if you are late arriving to your event spot start time you will only have the time remaining to achieve your distance.

Friday, March 25 12-7pm or morning of race day. 


Must be 8 years of age or older to participate in event.


Indoor Triathlon
Training Program

 Join the 10-week Y-Tri training program that will provide a basic 10 week training plan leading up to the Burlington area YMCA Y-TRI on March 26, 2022.

The program will include :

  • A basic bike fit session so you know you are set up for success mechanically
  • Weekly opportunity for swim mechanic instructions
  • A run form clinic
  • Recovery and maintenance session to practice techniques in caring for the body to provide optimal performance
  • Questions answered and support  throughout the 10 weeks
  • Encouraged group training opportunity
  • Morning or evening group cycling classes

No matter what your goal is: to check a box, challenge yourself, increase fitness level, create a routine, we want to help you get there successfully!  This program is for those who are looking to just get started, improve their skill/knowledge in training, or just to be held accountable over the period of time are encouraged to join. Registration fee for triathlon not included in fee.
