Get back on the field this winter with our dynamic 4v4 soccer league. This mixed coed league is played on a smaller turf field, guaranteeing fast-paced and high-scoring matches. You’ll play two 20-minute halves using a futsal ball, and with no goalkeepers or kick-ins, the action never stops. It’s the perfect way to sharpen your skills and have a blast this winter.

This league does not practice.  There are only games held on the following dates:

• When: Wednesdays December 3, 10, 17, January 7, 14, and 21. (Note: January 28 is reserved as a weather make-up day.)
• Ages: Divisions for U8, U10, U12, and U14 will be created based on registration numbers.
• Schedule: Game times are subject to change based on the number of teams. The youngest divisions will start first, with games beginning around 5:30 p.m.

SESA 7v7 League – Winter Session

Experience the fast-paced and fun-filled game of 7v7 soccer! Our winter league is designed as a game-only session, focusing on player development through a free-flowing, enjoyable format.

This league does not practice.  There are only games held on the following dates:

Session Details:

• Dates: Wednesday evenings, January 28th through March 4th.
• Make-Up Day (if needed): Wednesday, March 11th
• Divisions (COED ) :U8, U10, U12, U14
• Please note: Divisions may be combined if necessary to ensure competitive and balanced gameplay.

Your BURLINGTON AREA YMCA and SOUTHEAST SOCCER ACADEMY team up to offer  an opportunity to be active outdoors while improving your child’s soccer skills. Community League soccer places a strong emphasis on both skill and character development. Each player will receive a team t-shirt. Register at the Y front desk or online at www.burlingtony.org.

*The  Community League is open to all boys and girls ages pre-k to 8th grade.

Introducing SESA Touch Tuesdays! Burlington community league players U10 and older now have access to weekly professional training sessions led by SESA coaches. These sessions will focus on enhancing player touch and technical skills. Join us :

Tuesdays from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM at the Burlington Rec Plex starting March 31st .

Community League Game Dates – April 4,11,18,25 and May 2nd.

One week off for the Mississippi Cup (May 9 & 10)

Community Cup Saturday May 16th.

“SESA Street Soccer” is a pickup style free play program that provides players an opportunity to use their skills and creativity while playing in loosely structured games against similar aged players. This format allows players to try new things, find success, be challenged, to learn from older and more experienced players, and to demonstrate leadership by guiding and playing with younger players. Staff organize and supervise play, at times coaching, but largely encouraging players to try new things and challenge themselves. This format maximizes the number of touches each player has and makes a huge impact on a player’s growth and development.

• Mondays night from Nov 24th to March 9th ( Break Dec 22nd and 29th)
• $5 fee at the door (cash only) – Must be register and completed online waiver prior to participation.
• Time schedule:                                                                                                                                                                             U8/U11(ages 7,8,9,10) – 5:30 to  6:30PM                                                                                                                           U12/U14 8th grade (ages 11-14) –  6:30 to 8:00PM

Our skills development series is open to children who are eligible to be enrolled in 3-year old pre-school. Players will learn basic soccer fundamentals through drills and small group instruction. Sessions are held at the FunCity Turf.
