A new and exciting soccer format to kick off the winter soccer season leading up to the SESA 4v4 Turf Wars Tournament. Mixed coed teams will play two 20 minute halves of 4v4 on a smaller field, using futsal balls. With no goalkeepers, kick-ins, and a smaller field, games are fast paced and high scoring.

*Wednesdays December 4,11,18, January 8,15,22 (29th weather make-up)

**Divisions will be divided as able for the following: u8, u10, u12, u14.

**Game times will be depend on registrations and teams, with the youngest ages coming first, starting at around 5:30pm.

Your BURLINGTON AREA YMCA and SOUTHEAST SOCCER ACADEMY team up to offer  an opportunity to be active outdoors while improving your child’s soccer skills. Rec League soccer places a strong emphasis on both skill and character development. Each player will receive a team t-shirt. Register at the Y front desk or online at www.burlingtony.org.

*The Fall Rec League is open to all boys and girls in the greater Burlington community, for ages pre-k to 8th grade (birth years 2018-2010). All coaches receive instruction and resources from SESA including practice plan guides, coach education opportunities, and pre-season informational clinic.

The U8 Junior Academy Program is open to all Boys and Girls birth year 2018-2016; perfect for new players looking to build skills and passion for soccer and returning players to continue in a valued program to prepare for the competitive SESA Academy following programs.

All trainings sessions will be structured with the play-practice-play approach. Registration includes participation in the 6 week Fall Rec League at the Burlington Rec Plex, participation in The Monster Match & a SESA Jr. Academy T-shirt.

“SESA Street Soccer” is a pickup style free play program that provides players an opportunity to use their skills and creativity while playing in loosely structured games against similar aged players. This format allows players to try new things, find success, be challenged, to learn from older and more experienced players, and to demonstrate leadership by guiding and playing with younger players. Staff organize and supervise play, at times coaching, but largely encouraging players to try new things and challenge themselves. This format maximizes the number of touches each player has and makes a huge impact on a player’s growth and development.

• Mondays night from Nov 25th to March 10th ( Break Dec 23rd and 30th)
• $5 fee at the door (cash only) – Must be register and completed online waiver prior to participation.
• Time schedule:                                                                                                                                                                              U8/U11(ages 7,8,9,10) – 5:30 to  6:30PM                                   U12/U14 8th grade (ages 11-14) –  6:30 to 8:00PM

Our skills development series is open to children who are eligible to be enrolled in 3-year old pre-school. Players will learn basic soccer fundamentals through drills and small group instruction. Sessions are held at the FunCity Turf.
