Strong Kids Campaign

Building strong kids, strong families, and a strong community in large and small ways is dependent on a partnership between the Burlington Area Community YMCA-YWCA and its members and friends. Through the Strong Kids Campaign, individuals and businesses in the community partner with the YMCA-YWCA to make sure every child can be a part of the Y.

Dollars raised are an investment in the future of thousands of lives in our area by providing scholarships to those in need. In 2009, the Strong Kids Campaign Dollars helped 172 deserving youth and families become Y members totaling $64, 724. Also, 131 children were provided program assistance totaling $6,080. In every sense, Strong Kids Campaign is an investment for the future of the Southeast Iowa Communities.

The 2010 goal for the Strong Kids Campaign is $27,500. Every penny of your contribution will help immerse a child in the Y's world of positive values and guidance.

Memorial Gifts

The Burlington Area Community YMCA-YWCA profoundly impacts the lives of a diversity of people. Many of these people choose to designate the YMCA-YWCA for memorial gifts to honor family and friends. These special gifts work to benefit our community far into the future. What a legacy!
