Team Works Ropes/Challenge Course
For Corporate, Youth & Adult Groups

People are an organization’s greatest resource.  The success of any organization ultimately depends on how efficiently its members work together to achieve a common vision.  Communication, trust, self-confidence, respect, problem solving.  These are building blocks for successful team.

TEAM Works is a one day program customized to your organization’s needs.  Activities and challenges with perceived risk are set forth to enhance qualities such as creative problem solving, positive conflict management, effective use of resources and leadership skills.  The program incorporates experiential learning theory though team challenges and outdoor high adventure.

The TEAM Works Ropes/Challenge Course at Camp McBride takes participants 30-40 feet off the ground, through the safety of a trained belayer.  Our high ropes elements options include the Cat Walk, Pamper Pole, Multi-Vine, Pirate’s Crossing, Climbing Wall and Zip Line.  Participants wear harnesses fastened to a belay rope while on the course.  This rope is also connected to the belayer on the ground and serves as the safety line.

Low ropes elements are a series of obstacles and challenges that a group must work together to accomplish.   The activities offer solution-focused problem solving.  Examples of initiatives include: Nitro Crossing, Low Beams, Pirate’s Crossing and Tension Traverse.

Our high ropes are adventure based which take participants 30-40 feet off the ground and include the following elements:

Cat Walk
Test your balance while walking across a telephone pole that is suspended in the air.

Pirate’s Crossing
Walk across a cable wire and maneuver yourself from one rope to other.

Multivine
Use your agility to travel from vine to vine while suspended in the air.

Pamper Pole
Climb up a telephone pole and balance on top of it, then experience a brief exciting free fall.

Climbing Tower
Two 40 foot climbing walls with a variety of climbing challenges and various rock climbing holds.   A safe introduction to the sport of rock climbing.

Zip Line
Climb to the platform on a telephone pole, zip through the air down a 150 ft. cable, and come to a stop with your feet in the air.

Here are a few things you will want to know to help you get the most out of your day on the ropes course at Camp McBride:
